9-Day Private Tour: Marrakech, Sahara Desert & Chefchaouen

9 Days

TRIP DESCRIPTION

This 9-day private tour takes you through the full spectrum of Morocco — from the vibrant energy of Marrakech to the silence of the Sahara, through ancient imperial cities, mountain forests, and the legendary blue streets of Chefchaouen.

Crossing the High Atlas Mountains on day one sets the tone for a journey of constant visual reward. The pre-Saharan south unfolds through the Valley of Roses, the Dades and Todra Gorges, and the sweeping Ziz Valley before the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. A camel trek at sunset, a night of Berber music under the stars, and a Saharan sunrise are the emotional peak of the tour — but far from the only one.

The return north takes you through cedar forests and Barbary macaque country into Fes, where a full guided day barely scratches the surface of Morocco’s most complex and captivating city. From Fes, the road leads through the imperial grandeur of Meknes into the Rif Mountains and Chefchaouen — a city so beautifully surreal it almost doesn’t feel real. A stop at the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca closes the loop before a final night and full guided day back in Marrakech.
